VINTAGE 5 STRAND CHAMPAGNE FAUX PEARL RHINESTONE CLUSTER BEADS NECKLACE 40s HOOK

Description

This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL vintage 5 strand faux pearl & rhinestone necklace/choker.  It is from the 40s.  The faux pearls may be glass since it is VERY heavy.  There are also clusters of prongset rhinestones made in the same shape and size of the faux pearls.  There are rhinestones in the bars at each end and a hook closure.  The piece is exactly how I got it.  However, something has always bothered me that the end where the hook is the pearls are smaller than all the others.  I don't know if that is original or not, but the color matches so....  The hook is marked Japan.  I found no maker marks anywhere on the piece but it is well made.  It measures approx. 18 1/8 inches end to end.  It is approx. 11 inches bar to bar.  (each of the 5 strands)
