    Description

    This design was manufactured for Sears in 1941 and was called Flamex. McKee Glass was hired to manufacture the Flamex ovenware line for Sears.  This design was produced for 7 years until 1948 when the name Flamex was discontinued, though the same size dishes were still continued to be produced but this embossed flower design was removed from the dishes and the product line was renamed MAID OF HORNOR.  The McKee Flamex dishes have a floral / leaf pattern  embossed on the outside of the glass while the inside is smooth. No chips or cracks. It has a light tint of yellow in the glass. If you have any questions please ask before purchasing. This is a very rare piece that is in good condition.
