Mercury outboard Mercruiser Marine Diagnostic Scan Tool - Mercury Computer EFI systems and Mercruiser MPI and EFI systems.  It works on Marina and Mercury Racing motors also.   Cables in the pictures are included.   - Technical and materials included in the pictures.  Used very little, this is a nice tool in a Gray Hard Case.  Everything works great on this scanner.  This scanner comes with the 3.0 Version software , which is for pre 2001 outboards and inboards,  with 2 pin cable  for smartcraft and Mercruiser.  This software works on all EFI and DFI optimax outbaords pre 2001, will work on most 2001 year model motors also.  All engines that are pre 2002 and later with the 2 pin connection will use a different software in this scanner.  Mercruiser EFI's use a this software from the outboard motors Mercury makes.  If you need other software with this scanner email me and let me know and I will work with you on the software you need for a fee.  You will get everything you see in the pictures just like it is shown, this unit is tested and ready for use with your motor to perform diagnostic checks.  It will check your prom ID, will check you run history, check engine hours, check over head, rev over heat faults, fuel pump test, injector test, check throttle position sensor TPS, lots of diagnostic capability, you can also reset faults and history do break in oil setting, output function test on fuel and ignition.
The 2 pin cable you have about 8' so you can run the motor down the lake and hold the scanner while you drive and see what it is doing.
