    Description

    This wonderful portable (Nodate) tea set is perfect for picnics! The kit contains
    a woven basket with attached silk cover in pale green,
    2 small-size teabowls, a small
    natsume (black plastic 2 1/2”H x 2 1/4”W) a small chasen 4"H and a small folding chashaku 6 5/8"L (both fit into the bamboo tube attached to the nodate string).
    Chawan #1 is a Mishima Hakeme-style ko-chawan 三島 小茶碗 by 郷倍 Kyoubai ? ~1980, measurements: 3 7/8 x 2 3/8" (9.7 x 6.2cm). Chawan #2 is a Black raku ko-chawan 黒楽 小茶碗 by 野点松楽 Ya Ten ? Shouraku~1980, measurements: 3 3/4 x 2 5/8" (9.5 x 6.6 cm). All from Japan.  (NOTE: New nodate without extra bowl start at 0) Condition: very good, like new.
